HOW IT WORKS

MDaemon and Door Tablet, Connected

Door Tablet connects to the calendar folders managed by MDaemon, bringing room schedules to Door Tablet displays. When a reservation is created or changed through MDaemon, the corresponding room display is updated. Supported bookings made directly at the display are written back to the MDaemon calendar.

Turn MDaemon Calendar Folders into Meeting Rooms

With MDaemon, meeting room resources are created using public calendar folders. Administrators can organise these folders to reflect their buildings, floors or meeting spaces.

Door Tablet can discover the relevant calendars, making it easier to bring your existing meeting rooms into the system without recreating the underlying schedules.

You can also apply a common naming filter, such as "room", to narrow the resources Door Tablet finds. Once imported, administrators can activate the required spaces and configure their displays.

Connect Door Tablet to MDaemon

Prepare your MDaemon room calendars, configure the connection in Door Tablet and activate your meeting spaces.

Prepare MDaemon Calendars

Create or review the public calendar folders representing your meeting rooms, and configure the appropriate access permissions.

Configure the Connection

In the Door Tablet System Profile, select MDaemon and enter the administrator credentials and MDaemon Admin URL.

Discover Your Meeting Rooms

Optionally apply a calendar folder naming filter, then discover the relevant MDaemon meeting room resources in Door Tablet.

Activate and Configure Spaces
