HOW IT WORKS
Planon and Door Tablet, Connected
Door Tablet integrates with Planon through the dedicated Planon Connector. This allows meeting room reservations and availability information managed in Planon to be presented through Door Tablet displays, with supported booking interactions connected to the existing scheduling environment.
Planon remains the scheduling and workplace management system, while Door Tablet extends room reservation information and supported interactions to displays throughout the building.

NATIVE INTEGRATION
Connect Through the Planon Door Tablet Connector
The integration uses a dedicated connector installed within your Planon environment. This enables Door Tablet to communicate with Planon without replacing the workplace scheduling system already used by your organisation.
The connector is supplied by Planon. To get started, contact your Planon account manager to obtain it and confirm the applicable licensing requirements.
Once installed, your Planon administrator obtains an access key and configures the connection through the Door Tablet System Profile.

The integration has some differences from Microsoft 365. The published Planon implementation notes exclude meeting participant listings and direct integration with the paid version of Microsoft Teams. Check current compatibility before planning additional meeting services.
